By train

Express train station Jenbach/Tyrol, Zillertalbahn (train or bus) to Mayrhofen; Postbus link Mayrhofen - Hintertux. For more information on timetables, see the train information service. We offer a pick-up service (for a fee) from the railway station on request.

Nightjet

Relax with the NIGHTJET to Innsbruck and on to Hintertux-Tyrol. Travel comfortably and stress-free overnight to us in Tyrol every day. Some cars and motorbikes can be taken on the Nightjets. Arrival without a vehicle: A transfer can be organised for you. You can find more details here.

By car

Inntalautobahn A12 – exit Zillertal, Bundesstraße B169 to Mayrhofen, Tuxer Landesstraße towards Hintertux (from the motorway exit Zillertal, it’s approx. 50 km to Hintertux). The Tuxer Landesstraße road from Mayrhofen to Hintertux is accessible all year round. Please note that snow chains are mandatory in case of snow and ice! Weight limit 16 tonnes, trailers not permitted, maximum clearance height in the avalanche galleries: 4.20 metres.
