Fine weather – outdoors, wide open, panoramic views
Spruce Castle
At the wooden spruce castle on the Rosenalm, visitors of all ages can step into the shoes of a lord or lady of the castle and immerse themselves in an imaginative world of adventure. Surrounded by an adventure playground featuring a treetop walkway by the deep-green Fichtensee, four accessible towers – including a climbing tower and an 18-metre-high observation tower – soar skywards, linked by daring bridges. Water Oasis at Ahorn - Play and Relaxation
Around Lake Ahorn, nature lovers can discover countless water oases and play areas whilst hiking along the Ahornbach stream. At Ahorn, the mountains and water are inextricably linked: the AhornSee and AhornBachl water oases provide refreshing moments in the heart of the Alpine countryside. Spannagel Cave – An underground adventure
The Spannagel Cave, situated below the Spannagelhaus on the Hintertux Glacier, offers a fascinating labyrinth of marble and sinter. The only marble cave in the Central Alps, it lies within a massive marble layer between Hintertux and the Spannagelhaus and harbours numerous natural wonders. The entrance was discovered as early as 1919, and exploration began around 1960. Accompanied by a guide, cave explorers of all ages can discover stalactites, glacial mills and perhaps even bats.
