What cancellation conditions currently apply? What if I want to bring my dog with me to Hintertux? Can I check out later? Below, we have summarized some useful information about your stay.
The Austrian hotel contract terms and conditions apply:
- You can cancel free of charge up to 60 days before the start of your vacation.
- Up to 1 month before the start of your vacation, we charge 40% of the package price
- Up to 1 week before arrival, we charge 70% of the package price
- After that, 90% of the package price will be charged
We would like to point out that the 14-day right of withdrawal pursuant to § 18 (1) Z10 FAGG does not apply.

Reservations at your hotel in Hintertux are usually made in writing and are valid once a deposit of 30% of the total price per booking has been paid into our bank account. Please note that it is possible to reserve certain categories, but not specific room numbers. You can pay your hotel bill in cash, by EC card, Visa, or Master Card. Please note that we do not accept commercial credit cards. To avoid any payment problems on the day of departure, you are welcome to transfer the amount for your vacation to our account in advance. The prices quoted are per person per day and include all taxes, excluding local tax of €2.60 per person per day (from 15 years of age).

- You will receive a 15-20% discount for the third and fourth adults in the room (except in the Edelweiss Suite).
- We charge €19.00 for an extra breakfast.
- Unused services included in weekly packages or inclusive services cannot be replaced or refunded.
- For overnight stays with breakfast only, the price is reduced by €25.00 per person per day.
- Family Special: August 29 to October 03, 2026, and November 07 to November 28, 2026 – children up to their 4th birthday stay free of charge. Children up to 8 years of age receive a special price of €40 per child/per day.
Our kitchen is happy to cater for special dietary requirements and intolerances—we charge an additional fee of €10.00 per person/per day for this service. Please let us know your requirements when booking so that we can prepare for your stay in the best possible way.
Dogs are always welcome here! We charge €35.00 per day (without food) and ask you to bring your own basket/blanket. Dogs are not allowed in the hotel restaurant (dining room), in any of the sports facilities, in the Alpine garden, in the swimming pool and pool area, in the children's playroom, or in the VITALIS relaxation area. We reserve the right to charge for any final cleaning that may be necessary.
You can use our Wi-Fi throughout the entire building free of charge.
During their stay at our hotel in the Zillertal, our guests have access to a free underground parking space with direct access to our hotel. The entrance height is 2.10 m.
The Alpenhof gourmet board begins at 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and ends after breakfast on the day of departure. Your room will be ready for you to check in from 3:00 p.m. at the latest on the day of arrival. Please inform us of any later arrival times when making your reservation. On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 a.m.
On your departure day, you are welcome to store your luggage with us and use our Vitalis spa area free of charge. You can also enjoy our afternoon buffet.
We want your stay at the Alpenhof to be as pleasant as possible—from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. That's why we offer our guests late check-out upon request and subject to availability for €45.00 per person. Children up to 15 years of age receive a 50% discount.
Our Hotel Alpenhof is open from May to October.
The following opening hours apply during your stay:
- Breakfast is served at the Alpenhof from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- Afternoon buffet from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- We serve dinner between 6:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.
- Our Vitalis SPA relaxation area is open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Our saunas and steam baths are heated for you from 2:00 p.m., or earlier in case of bad weather.

For the well-being and health of all guests at our hotel in Hintertux, we kindly ask you to smoke only in our Havana Room. All other areas of the hotel are non-smoking areas. All rooms and suites are non-smoking rooms. If smoking does occur in our rooms, we reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee of €100.00. If you use the balcony for smoking, please keep the room windows closed.
We offer a laundry service; one load of laundry costs €25.00.
In accordance with Austrian hotel regulations, we are liable for the proper performance of the services listed. The provisions of the Austrian hotel regulations dated November 15, 2006 apply.
