This Gourmet Showcase Week harmoniously combines exquisite culinary creations, top-quality Austrian wines, the cozy atmosphere of the Alpenhof, and shared experiences in Hintertux. Here, it becomes clear: indulgence brings people together. Enjoy evenings full of culinary highlights together, marvel at sophisticated flavor combinations, and look forward to every course. The crowning glory of a year of indulgence, a delight for gourmets—it is a time to surrender completely to the senses.
We kick off our gourmet week with a very special experience high up at our Schrofenalm. Under the expert guidance of sushi pro Dominik Edlinger and his team, we’ll spend the morning immersing ourselves in the art of sushi-making. With a view of the impressive mountain scenery, we’ll roll, slice, and plate our creations before enjoying the freshly prepared delicacies together in a convivial atmosphere. In case of bad weather, the sushi course will take place here at the hotel. (Cost: €80.00 per person). We ask that you register for this activity in advance, as the number of participants is limited. The registration deadline for this activity is September 27, 2026.
On Tuesday evening, our first gala evening of the week, our guest chef, Michelin-starred chef Florian Vogel, will join forces with our head chef Maximilian Stock and his team to enchant you with a gala dinner of the highest culinary caliber. The evening will be accompanied by select beers from the Zillertal Bier private brewery.
An evening filled with passion, emotion, and culinary artistry awaits you at the Mehlerhaus in Madseit, a building dating back up to 400 years. After a one-year hiatus, Adi Bittermann is returning to us. In this very special atmosphere, a culinary experience is created that impressively combines tradition, craftsmanship, and culinary artistry. We ask that you register in advance, as the number of participants is limited (cost: €75.00 per person; includes beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages).
On Thursday, our second gala evening of the week, our head chef Maximilian Stock and his team will treat you to a “Best of” selection from the Genießerstube. The Bernard family and their estates – Domaine Chevalier, Domaine de la Solitude and Clair de Lune – provide the wines to accompany our ‘Best of Genießerstube’ menu.
Once again this year, our popular Alpenhof Kitchen Party will serve as the grand finale of our week of culinary delights. Together with regional partners, our head chef Maximilian will be whipping up a variety of delicacies at different stations.
