Moments of indulgence at the Alpenhof

MICRO-STARRED RESTAURANT IN THE ZILLERTAL

THE CONNOISSEUR'S LOUNGE

Small, intimate, and exclusive. The Genießerstube is a restaurant dedicated to and centered around indulgence. Relax, meet friends, try something new, and simply take the time to enjoy a fine glass of wine and delicious food—the culinary experience at the Alpenhof has many facets. The Genießerstube seats only a few guests, making it the perfect setting for special moments. Awarded a Michelin star, 4 Gault&Millau toques, and 95 points from Falstaff, Chef Maximilian Stock delights guests with creative flavor combinations that tantalize the palate. His primary goal is to blend innovation with regional ingredients without ever feeling homespun. In the kitchen, every detail is refined, perfected, and executed to perfection. When selecting ingredients, quality and respect for nature and the producers take center stage. This guarantees the finest culinary experience, from appetizer to dessert. The Genießerstube is a true hidden gem for all guests in and around Hintertux.

A PORTRAIT OF MAXIMILIAN STOCK

Cooking is an art—and to master it, you need true artists who bring passion and experience to the table: Our head chef, Maximilian Stock, is exactly that kind of person—someone who has felt at home in the kitchen for years and adds his own personal touch to his dishes—he calls his philosophy the “Alpine Touch.” Maximilian was born and raised in the Tux Valley. After gaining experience both nationally and internationally, he joined us at the Alpenhof in the winter of 2018 and now leads the kitchen team with skill and expertise to culinary excellence.
