One of the cornerstones of our culinary philosophy is our connection to our region and the unique products produced here. That’s why most of our suppliers are just a stone’s throw away, allowing us to always use fresh, farm-fresh ingredients. Local is simply brilliant!
However, this wouldn’t be possible without our long-standing and reliable suppliers and partners, who are dedicated with passion and heart to producing top-quality regional food locally and maintaining the circular economy within our valleys. These are values you can actually taste. Because in the Zillertal and Tuxertal, we have the best conditions for producing high-quality food: fresh water, clean air, fertile soil, but above all, time-tested expertise and a deep love for the region.
BREAKFAST: GOOD MORNING…
... at our extensive breakfast buffet from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Here at our inn, the aroma of fresh coffee, invigorating juices and teas, and a tempting selection of crusty breads, homemade jams, and spreads ensure a great start to your day. You can also look forward to dishes prepared fresh in our open kitchen buffet using eggs and dairy products from our own farm and the surrounding region.
FOR A SMALL HUNGER: BETWEEN MEALS…
... delicious dishes at the afternoon buffet will delight your palate—from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. If you happen to be out and about at lunchtime or get a little hungry in the afternoon, enjoy delicious desserts, hearty salads, fine soups, and savory treats from the buffet. Also always at your fingertips: healthy apples and Zillertal spring water.
DINNER: YOUR FAVORITE EVENING MEAL
The finest nuances of flavor—that is our kitchen team’s specialty. After a wonderful day of vacation in Hintertux, you might be in the mood for a good meal. Our head chef, Maximilian Stock, treats our guests daily to his Michelin-starred cuisine—a feast for the senses. Every evening from 6:45 PM to 8:45 PM, we welcome you to the elegant ambiance of our restaurant, where a 5-course menu awaits you. When sommelier Klaus Dengg, Jr. then serves a fine wine, nothing stands in the way of a perfect evening…

Special Dietary Needs and Food Intolerances
The Alpenhof kitchen team places great importance on meeting the individual needs and preferences of our guests. To ensure you can enjoy your stay with us without any worries, we are happy to accommodate special dietary needs as well as various food intolerances. Since the preparation of special dishes requires extra attention and often special ingredients, we charge a surcharge of €10.00 per person per day. Please let us know your requirements when you make your reservation. We are, of course, always happy to answer any questions and provide further information.
