Train

Jenbach/Tirol express train station, Zillertalbahn (train or bus) to Mayrhofen; Postbus service Mayrhofen–Hintertux. For more information on schedules, please check the train timetable. We offer a pickup service (for a fee) from the train station upon request.

Nightjet

Travel in comfort to Innsbruck and on to Hintertux-Tirol with the NIGHTJET. Travel to us in Tyrol daily, comfortably and stress-free, overnight. Car

Inntal Autobahn (A12) – Zillertal exit, Federal Highway (B169) to Mayrhofen, Tuxer Landesstraße toward Hintertux (approx. 50 km from the Zillertal highway exit to Hintertux). The Tuxer Landesstraße from Mayrhofen to Hintertux is easily passable year-round. Snow chains are mandatory in snowy and icy conditions! Weight limit 16 tons, no trailers allowed, maximum clearance height at the avalanche tunnels 4.20 m.
